  1. I'm going to be rejecting my acceptance to Pitt because of the cost and distance so I hope it helps you!
  2. Has there been one for Montclair yet?
  3. It seems like everyone else has heard from them but me... anyone else in the same boat?
  4. Can I ask when you got rejected from NYU? I still haven't heard anything from them
  5. Hey guys! Thanks for the encouraging words. Since I posted this I have been accepted to one school and waitlisted to another. I hope all of you get good news soon if you haven't already!
  6. Anyone know when we should be hearing back from BU? It looks like they had already notified by this time last year. Wondering if anyone got a general timeline when they interviewed?
  7. Congrats on getting in to NYU. Does it seem like they accepted everyone in that one email or have you heard anything about them sending more? I never heard back from them and I'm trying to stay positive but I have no reason to believe they're sending more acceptances out
  8. It's funny it still gives me a little hope because they called it "your award." Makes me feel like even though they said it's nothing, they haven't flat out rejected us yet. I guess we'll see
  9. Haha it's fine! It's annoying that they would change our portal to say something like that when we're still waiting on decisions. No one in admissions seems to have any clue of what it means either which is frusturating. Hopefully we'll get decisions soon!
  10. I don't know if it's just my browser but I find it nearly impossible to sign into the MyMadison portal. After I jump through all the security hoops it brings me to an error page. Does this happen to anyone else?
  11. @Puffer Fish I'm in the same boat. I see you've also applied to UPitt and JMU. Is it just me or have they been 100% silent this entire application process? I almost forgot I applied to those schools because I've heard NOTHING!
  12. Read the above posts. It doesn't mean anything
  13. Like I said, I contacted the school and they said that means nothing so I guess that tab wont exist unless we're admitte
  14. Update of some sort: my portal still says complete and awaiting a decision but now the checklist also added "You have outstanding financial aid requirements that are preventing your award from being finalized. Please check the `Student Financial Services` channel for more information." I called the graduate school and was transferred to financial aid and they told me to disregard it unless you're admitted and that it doesn't really mean anything.
  15. I'm hoping so because I also didn't hear
  16. Which schools are you specifically waiting to hear back from? The ones I've seen acceptances for but haven't heard myself yet are NYU and Temple. I wish it was socially acceptable to call them and ask if I'm in or not!
  17. Thanks guys! There's a couple of my schools thats have sent out acceptances and I haven't heard anything which is the reason I've gotten so stressed out . Even hearing back for a waitlist would be better than this limbo of not knowing!
  18. I know it's still early but it's starting to become a little discouraging seeing everyone else get into at least one school and still not hearing anything back. I thought I would have gotten in somewhere by now. Anyone else also in this position?
  19. Don't worry. I'm in the same boat. Just waiting to at least have one acceptance but this is my first year of applying so I'm hoping all goes well for the both of us.
  20. Me too! It seems like so many people got acceptances and I'm just waiting for mine... hopefully
  21. I haven't gotten any emails starting to freak out... does it seem like they sent out all the acceptances at once? A sunday night is really strange timing
  22. I didn't get anything yet...I hope they're sending them in waves
  23. Anyone else anxiously awaiting NYU? By this time last year NYU had already sent out their decisions so I'm thinking maybe Monday? So nerve wracking!
  24. People who told you you're the only one are just trying to stress you out. There are plenty of out of field applicants who haven't done any observation hours. I've also heard that a lot of schools won't even accept undergrad observation hours anyway. My school doesn't offer hours through a program so I have over 30 hours but technically not through an accredited institution. Think of it as experience but by no means would it make the difference between you getting into a program or not!
