Hey Horb,
I posted this message on the thread you started for last year's DAAD cycle, but I thought I might forward it to you directly, since your experiences were so helpful in my (ultimately failed) efforts to get the Intensive Language Course grant last year.
I am looking to apply again and found this note on their website, stating that "An applicant may only be considered once in any three consecutive years for a DAAD Intensive Language Course or University Summer Course Grant." (click over to Application Requirements). This seems to imply that if you applied for a DAAD Intensive Language stipend, then you cannot apply again for three years. Am I reading this wrong (so much on the DAAD site is awkwardly phrased)? Is it a requirement I can ignore, or maybe, more likely, do they mean to apply this only to people who won the grant? Was this requirement in place in years past? I do not remember it, and it seems like you applied multiple years in a row
Hope all is well with you and your pursuits.
