Hi everyone! Congrats to all those who have received acceptances! I was just curious if anyone has heard anything back from UCLA? I'm wondering whether its just over now for those who haven't heard anything by this point. -
I applied to PhD programs last year and was waitlisted at a great program, but didn't get accepted or waitlisted anywhere else. This is my second year applying, and mostly to the same programs, I was just wondering if anyone thinks I'd have a better shot with the school I was waitlisted at since I got close last year. Hoping someone could share their second round applying experiences.

Hey everyone! congrats to those here that received MA and PhD offers thus far! I emailed the department early last week and am still on the wait list for PhD. They said they would let me know as soon as anything changed. Still in the waiting game :/ don't really know what my chances are of getting off the list at this point.

Hi! Thank you so much for making this thread! I'm the one who posted as the waitlist. I had called the department office in the last week of February and the told me then that I was waitlisted. I emailed back regarding how many people might be on the waitlist, but the response was that there's not much else they can tell me other than they hope to get back to me with a decision by the end of the month. I work on South Asia by the way. Just wondering if anyone else in on the waitlist?? Hopefully, we'll all get our responses soon!
