  1. Hi I wanted to get an idea from people who are also applying to Masters in Analytics programs in US for courses starting in Fall of 2107. I know it is a bit early and most applications have just started but I wanted to understand what kind of colleges I could target considering my profile which I detailing below Undergrad Institution: Middle of the pack Engineering College (India) Major(s): Electronics and Communication Minor(s): GPA in Major: 4 Overall GPA: 3.4 Position in Class: Top Type of Student: International - female Grad: MBA in HR - one of top 5 B Schools in India, Class Rank: Top 5, GPA: 3.9 GRE Scores (revised/old version): Q: 165 V: 165 AWA: 4.5 TOEFL Total: 115 Pertinent Activities or Jobs: Have close to 10 years of experience in Retail process improvement and Management Consulting My top choices for schools are: Columbia: MS Applied Analytics UChicago: MS Analytics University of Texas Austin: Masters Analytics Univ of Southern California : MS Business Analytics Purdue Univ: MS Analytics Northwestern: MS Analytics If someone could help me out with the following: 1. Am I Ok to target these colleges or are they too much of a 'reach' for my profile? Please suggest some other colleges where I will have a better chance of getting admission 2. I am 35 years old, mid-career professional, will that be a disadvantage for me as median age for most of these programs is 25-28yrs and median work ex is 2.5 - 4 years. For instance Duke Univ has clearly mentioned that their program would not be a good fit for me. Thanks
