  1. I was just kidding there Thanks!
  2. I mean I've been in touch with the chair of Cancer Bio admissions and he told me I was very competitive. And then my GRE scores were delayed so he had to track them down in the system and let me know when he received them and stuff. So if I don't hear back soon I'm probably already reviewed and that's not good.. But thanks for the encouragement!
  3. The freakout is real guys If I don't hear back today/tomorrow I will just email the chair and ask him to at least send me a rejection letter
  4. Omg congrats!! Do you know is they send invites out in batches or if you don't get it today you just don't get it
  5. Only 2. Jan 12th-13th and 19th-20th. Which wasn't that great but I'll take it
  6. Just got my Mt. Sinai interview as well! Congrats to everyone. I'll go with the Jan 19th-20th. Also what happens the second day?
  7. I'm not even sure how I'm getting through next semester potentially knowing that I'm already in grad school. Plus I'm already missing first 2 weeks of school for interviews and waiting on 6 more schools so what if I miss the whole semester and fail LOL
  8. Does anyone else have finals and don't care about doing well in anticipation of interviews?
  9. Omg I did too haha. Congrats!! So I think IGP just reviews 50 or so applicants every Monday and sends invites on Tuesday. I wouldn't worry too much at this point. Maybe in 2 weeks though..
  10. I'm also waiting to hear back. I really like the program vibe from the website and application. They seem more chill than most east coast schools so I'm not as freaked out.
  11. How do they select people for the first interview weekend versus the second and third? Is it same as in med schools and MSTPs like better applicants get first interview weekend? Or do they just give you an interview and you pick a weekend
  12. Wait is Cancer bio under CAMB? It's confusing
  13. I am so anxious
  14. Thanks! Do you know if UPenn Cancer Bio has sent out any invites yet? I contacted the head of admissions this year couple of weeks ago and asked him if I was a competitive enough applicant and he said I was very competitive and he was looking forward to receiving my application. But I wonder if that's what they tell everyone to get more apps.. Also I have 4 recommenders for all of my schools and I forgot to sent the 4th letter invite from Penn until mid November when my professor had a family emergency and had to leave campus so she still hasn't submitted her letter. Which is fine because I already have 3 letters in but I'm wondering if that looks bad (to have 4 invited recommenders and only 3 letters submitted).
  15. Okay does anyone know is admissions process is rolling anywhere? Some schools like Yale said - apply as soon as possible to ensure that your rec letters and GRE scores reach us in time. None of them said your application will be reviewed first if you apply in September or October right? I mean committee does not even meet until after the deadline so does that mean even people who submitted Dec 1st have the same shot?
  16. I'm assuming no one can ask you during the interviews or discriminate you based on the fact that you didn't take GRE subject. Since you couldn't have possibly taken it I think this is good news
  17. Waiting to hear back from Mt. Sinai, Cornell, Emory, UW, UPenn and Yale Biomedical
