Provided we're not talking about Top 5 vs Top 15, I think what I said above still applies, but you're probably on the edge of having an easy decision, particularly if your money concerns are addressed by the higher ranked school.

UGH! It's so GREAT to have this back... yesterday I couldn't post at all and it bummed me out. The website seems to still be acting funny, at least on my end... dunno what to say about that other than I wanted to admit how much I have really enjoyed this community. I haven't been able to share with many people around me because I am in a job right now and don't want to disrupt everything here until things are locked in. So, this has been an awesome place to share and be excited with others going through the same process. So, anyway, cheers to us!
 
Also, congrats to all the people who claimed acceptances over the last few days, especially peeps who are claiming there first ones. Still keeping fingers crossed for those waiting to get offers.
 

Claiming a Syracuse admission! 

Have no idea about Yale but according to past years, Harvard started trickling in from the last week of February though March 4th so I wouldn't start to worry until March 3rd (aka my birthday. I totally think if they send out decisions on that day, I should be an auto admit because well...you can't reject a girl on her birthday. It's rude. Lol)

Finally! It looks like UNC is finishing up. 

My personal favorite is still a response to rejection: "uncalled for!"

I went to an undergrad institution that had two celebrity professors in the Political Science department and two in the Poli Econ department. You had to take an application to take a class with them, they never gave letters of recommendation, they had hard to reach offices on obscure areas of the campus, and they were Professors of Practice or Emeritus so they never took in graduate students as RAs or TAs. I mean, it helped make the program one of the top ranked in the country, and honestly having their names on my transcript is kind of nice, but I can honestly say it has not helped with my educational experience any more than an equally capable non celebrity Professor has.

that is a lot for one field. Similarly ranked programs get a little more than that for the entire department. 

Same for UNC - it's driving me a bit crazy even though I now have an acceptance I would pick over them anyway....I just hate not knowing!

They distribute the list to the faculty before they send us the acceptances. With that being said, it may very well be on the same day. I don't think it is impossible. As of right now though, they are not done deliberating on who gets an offer, since the professor at UMich indicated that he was just as in the dark about it as we are. Unless they are rushing to get out the offers, I wouldn't bank on UMich releasing stuff today (I felt someone who was anxious about Michigan might be calmed by info like this at least for today). But like I said, you never know.
