I was wait listed but the initial offer was accepted, so Temple is out for me. I'm guessing we have different POIs if you haven't heard anything. Best of luck!
Did the DCT contact you to let you know that the initial offer had been accepted, or did you reach out to him? Thank you! And I'm sorry it didn't work out, but I'm sure you have great schools still ahead!

Any word from Temple for those on the waitlist? Man, this process is giving me a stress ulcer haha

Hi all! So, the interviews for UND and IIT clinical psychology programs are both on the same day, with no alternate day available. There is a strong likelihood of being able to do a skype/phone interview at either if you can not make it in person. For those who have experience with either or know of the programs, any opinions if both are pretty strong fits in terms of POI's research interests? Curious about thoughts on the program, funding, location, etc. greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Just checking if anyone has heard from UND clinical psychology? Not on the admissions boards yet, so just wondering. Thanks!

To the Temple poster who got an email on 2/3 saying he/she was not an alternate after the interview-- did you email the DCT or your POI and get a response, or did you just receive an email updating you? I've emailed both the DCT and my POI, but still haven't heard about my status after the interview. Thanks for your help!!

I don't know why but I find the entire 'looking up other applicants' thing pretty sad. I mean yes having achievements is going to help but there's more banking on an applicants personality and fit at this point. Why psyche yourself out by comparing?! But then again I remember some of the type As I interviewed with last time. It was hard getting them to have a non-academic conversation (talk about your freaking dog or the time you streaked in pre-k but stop talking about all the honor societies you're president of!)
Agreed! The idea of stalking other applicants is really depressing to me. Like dude, relax, just be yourself and everything will fall into place. This isn't some secret ninja mission to bring down everyone around you and everyone is not your competition! Seriously, that kind of behavior is so odd to me and things are stressful enough in this process. What do you hope to learn about others online anyways, and what are you gonna do with that information lol?! They may actually be your future classmates/friends...

Although it might be a long shot that I would get an offer from Temple (I haven't heared from it since the interview. Sigh~ I am not a very good match as well), I am curious is there anyone on the same boat as me? Don't know about my alternate status yet.
Same boat! I ended up emailing the DCT to find out my status yesterday, still waiting on a response. I'll let you know when I hear back, and if you could also let me know if you get any updates! Thanks!

Do schools have to let you know how high/low you are on the alternate list? A school I interviewed at seemed to have sent offers a week ago. I'm wondering if I should expect to hear where I stand or if some schools don't do that?
It varies by the school, but Temple specifically tells you at interviews that they tell you exactly where you stand and as soon as possible so you know whether to hold out when you get other offers/there's little hope. I would contact the DCT to find out.

Hi all! I've seen many people post about being told by Temple if they're high/low alternate. Has anyone who interviewed and didn't get an initial offer still not been told if they are high or low alternate? Thanks!

I think the DCT is making calls this week for alternates
Thank you!

Has anyone who interviewed at Temple and didn't receive a call this past week extending an offer hear from the DCT about your status as high alternative or low alternative? I'm wondering if it would be appropriate yet to email to ask for a status update since offers have gone out.
-
As of Wednesday, the admissions department specifically said so via phone. I'm not sure, however, whether that still holds true or the remainder were all sent Thursday and Friday? Sorry can't be more helpful!
-
University of Utah said all invites have been extended.

Haven't seen anything on the admissions/interviews updates for Illinois Institute of Technology, but interviews in past years have gone out around this time. Any updates? Thanks!

Did this happen and I just didn't get one? I didn't see anything posted.
I didn't see anything either. That's what the secretary said when I called, but who knows. Seems like the timelines often get pushed back with all these decisions ?

FYI: Remainder of Rutgers PhD interview invites going out today according to secretary!
-
FYI: I called and all of the BC counseling psych interview invites have not been sent out! Holding out a little ounce of hope haha
-
Does anyone know if all BC counseling psychology invites have been extended? Thanks in advance!
-
Wait...are we certain that BC interview invites have all gone out?? It seems like POI's have just begun calling people to invite them...
-
To the person who posted email rejection at Drexel--did you receive a mass email, personalized, or just assume rejection because no interview? If you could PM me or reply here, that would be great! Thanks in advance!
-
So...for those of us who applied to Drexel and still haven't heard about interviews, are we basically accepting that it's bad news ahead?
Seems likely all the interviews have gone out ?
-
You're all completely right-- thanks everyone for your advice!

Hi everyone! I had a question about the graduate student social events to welcome us and for us to get to ask questions in a casual environment. It's such an incredibly nice thing to do and they emphasize that it will have no say on our admission decisions. I wish that I could use the experience to gather information and get to know people, but it's before my interview and I am just so anxious and really would rather just spend time relaxing the night before. But...deep down...since we know graduate students do have a say in our admissions and even have interviews with them officially, do you think it's a missed opportunity? To show you're a good fit and get along with them before the day? I don't want to miss an opportunity, but jeez I'd rather not worry about going as incredibly nice it is for them to do.
Thanks in advance for your responses!!
