I answered right away expressing my excitement at the acceptance and told them I would notify them of my decision.

What program did you apply for? I received acceptance for the Social Psychology program, and was invited to visit the campus 12/12-12/14. I think interviews are happening that week for all programs.

I knew just from our email exchange that I didn’t get an invite but I think those who are being considered should have gotten their invites by now.
On the other hand, has anyone heard back from the Social Psych PhD program at NYU or from the University of Washington (Seattle)? I was told that the apps were still under review on Jan 7th by NYU, but haven’t heard anything since.
I also applied to the Social Psych NYU program, but haven’t heard anything. The forum and results section haven’t had any information either.

I am interested in infersectionality and how our multiple identites influence our perception of the world.
I applied to NYU, Columbia, Rutgers, The Graduate Center (CUNY), Stony Brook, Fordham U (applied developmental).
I have an interview for Fordham on 1/25.
I also received an email from Stony Brook saying I’m in their “top selection of students and only students from this group are considered for admissions” but not an actual interview invitation.

I applied for predoctoral. Does anyone know how this works? Does this funding offset your ability to get the usual stipend from your institution? Or can you receive both streams of funding?
