Well, that is hard to decide. Do you have a ranking of the schools in your heart? What is the rank of Sanger? I have been to Sanger (EMBL-EBI). I do not know much about the research but physically stayed there for a week. The campus is far away from city and even countryside but very beautiful.

I am waiting too. Did you hear anything from anybody yet?
-
To the guys who got CMU offer: Did you contact professors there before? I am surprised that they did not have interviews.

How much money did you spend on your graduate school applications?

International school, apply for 15 schools. $1500-2000. -
I am a research assistant in UChicago now. Congrats to you two. Top dream school. I applied to Chemical and system biology instead of BMI... I am afraid my Stanford is gone...

Congratulation. I heard they only enroll 1-3 students in this program. After all this University does not really have many computational faculty- and most are bio-stat. But the location of Northwestern Medical School is great! Seems you are in Chicago too. May I know which university you are?

Great thoughts. 70% is a high rate for the people who receive offer to accept it. In this case, it seems that the admission rate is quite high for the people who get the interview.

I heard from UCSF that they only give 2 international students interviews and enroll one. So I did not apply.

Wow, 50% is not a good enough number. Seems to be a tough journey.

That is nice. I will visit UCSD 2.3. I am not familiar with these programs. Do your guys have ideas about the admission rate for the interviews? At least Cornell Tri-I seems invites a lot of people.

I applied to Computational Bio. too. Got UCSD, Cornell tri-i, Pitts-system biology, Caltech Biology (no feedback since on-line interview, seems failed). Hope to see your guys in Cornell.
