first, congrats! As far as your choice goes, based on rankings alone it seems to be the right one. However, it all depends on your specific circumstances: research interests, funding, etc. Assuming you accounted for these in your choice as well, then awesome!

Pretty sure they sent out all their offers. Email Hong, she was super helpful.

As formerfactory said, psychology would be a big leap. What field of engineering are you trying to get into? One path I could see that would work would be to get a masters in biology and then a doctorate in biomedical engineering. I've seen some graduate programs in BME admit biology majors with the right prereqs, on the condition that they take extra courses.

If they are ranked the same, I would recommend Maryland. California is insanely expensive. If it is unfunded, save yourself a ton of money and live in Maryland/DC. Job wise, California is probably better for finding a job. Not entirely sure though, since I am not familiar with jobs in your major. California is just as hot bed for all sorts of engineering jobs.

Were you being considered for an RA? My understanding is the acceptances for fellowships all went out by now, and RA acceptances depend on professors filling out paperwork. Email Hong, she was super helpful and seemed happy to alleviate any anxiety. I received my refund, it arrived by mail.

Friday (3/10). I was accepted as an RA, so I was a pretty late decision. Most were made prior to that, from what Hong told me.

Accepted to Hopkins, and that is where I am going! To those on the wait list, my acceptance letter states that I must respond by March 21 so that they can make offers to those wait listed.

I am considering the same things, but with an opposite goal. I want to go into academia, so professors that have students who are now professors as well is a big draw for me.

Hey! Is this just for materials or is biomedical allowed too? lol Anyway, I have been accepted at VCU, NC State/UNC, and Carnegie and have interviews at Duke and Hopkins. I have turned down VCU and NC State, as they were my back up schools. I am considering turning down Duke, but will interview first so I can see the school. That leaves a choice between Hopkins and Carnegie, which will be more difficult to make. Will keep you posted!

Hopkins sent out invites to both of their recruitment weekends, Feb 9th and Feb 23rd, already. So JHU is probably done. Not sure about michigan. Best of luck!

I also got an email that an admission decision was available, which I assume they would do if they were accepting or rejecting. Did you apply through the UNC website or NCSU?

Did you get an email or a letter on the online portal?
