Thank you for your reply, Melvina! All I wanna do is to confirm if there is any possibility to get enrolled. The director emailed me last month, telling me that "We are enthusiastic about your application", and "We anticipate knowing more in mid-March after our initial admitted students day. Please let us know if there are any competing offers with earlier deadlines, we want to be able to get you as much information possible about where things stand before you accept another offer". In this case, do I need to contact them? I'm just curious & upset about the result... Many thanks!

No. I read their handbook for prospective students, which says interviews will be held from January to March. I told this to the program advisor, but he just confirmed that THERE IS NO INTERVIEW THIS YEAR - without any further explanation. Did you apply to any other health policy programs?

I was told there are ~100 applicants this year, all tracks in total. They will admit about 6 people, 3 of them will be in the economic track. Which track do you apply to?

Just called UC Berkeley Health Policy PhD program, and was told that the results would come out in next two weeks. There is no interview this year - strange.

No information received yet. Called the department yesterday at 11:45 AM but no one answered. By the way, is there anybody applying to the health care management & economics program in Wharton here? Any results / interview invitations?
