Same here, fingers crossed! I know at least 2 offer-holders who would definitely reject their offers at ND, so there's *some* hope. I work on philosophy of science, philosophy of physics, philosophy of mathematics, and maybe some logic, so I was hoping to work with Nic Teh, Don Howard, Patricia Blanchette and Tim Bays among others. I also have interests in metaphysics but probably not in the same way the ND gang does metaphysics.

The weird thing is ND has been sending out wait-list notifications for like the past 5 years. However, their schedule seems to have changed radically this year, what with releasing rejections instead of acceptances first. So maybe the no-wait-list policy is a part of this change. Still, very annoying!

Same. Really annoying! The least they can do is to inform us of what's going on, given they've sent out all the acceptances and rejections.

Two columbia acceptances now, and the fact that they were generic emails suggests it's time to kill off hope and wait for another day of sun.

Just that one guy who reported an acceptance, and that guy on FB who got wait-listed. I guess the others don't hang out around here. :'(

I think it depends. Some like to do the personalized email thing, but others like to do the mass email thing. (The former was the case for UCSD, the latter for UC Irvine)

I am giving it 30 minutes and then giving up. For some reason the east coast hates me... :'(

I think that's a fairly likely scenario, unless they have a surprise second wave of rejections. Hope you get some good news!

My friend from the UK got accepted to McGill today, and I am guessing that, from the perspective of Canada, Americans and British applicants are on the same timeline.

Waiting on UCSD and CUNY too, in addition to UNC Chapel Hill, Columbia and Notre Dame. I am also expecting NYU to tell me I will never deserve their love and to try to plug their bioethics MA program to me again.

I know Pittsburgh HPS does it, but not sure who else does.

A friend of mine also heard back sometime 3-4 weeks ago from UCSB (I remember because I heard UCSD instead of UCSB and had a panic moment)

Hoping that ND isn't done with their acceptances. Only know of 2 phone call acceptances at the moment so that gives me hope, given their average intake is ~10 people...

I once heard someone tell me (perhaps only half in jest) that their business model is to earn money from tuition fees so they can afford to keep inviting Zizek over.
