    @Zander I just looked at my Tyler application, and mine says that under program as well. Nervous 'cause it still says incomplete for me due to the mishap with my names. Anyone else apply for VCU painting who hasn't received an interview request yet? I tried emailing them to find out my status, but got no response. Pretty sure I should scratch that off the list.

    Maybe I should have, but they'll still be able to review my application, and the admissions person I spoke to was very accommodating. They personally have spoken to the painting department about the situation as well gave me the department head's info so I could follow up with them too.Hope it works out. They said there are 120 applicants for 5 spots!

    Turns out my Tyler application wasn't synced because I changed my last name recently and they didn't group the two names together. Whew, good thing I emailed them! Apparently they're not conducting any interviews for Painting this year, and updates will be sent at the beginning of March.

    Decided to email them to find out my status, and they respond that they never got my slideroom app even though I have a confirmation that everything went through. Wow. Awaiting their response. Thank you.

    I've been quietly following this forum for a while, but finally decided to join today. I applied to Yale (got rejected), VCU, and Tyler. I saw someone got an interview for VCU a week or so ago, has anyone else heard from their painting department? Or Tyler (aside from the fact that apparently they're accepting only 5 applicants)?
