Harvard and Brown rejections this morning. I told myself I wouldn't be but I'm really disappointed. Mostly an ego thing. I really hope everyone ends up at a program that will offer the best for them.

I can confirm for GWU - they sent me a mildly ambiguous email saying "shortlisted for admission." I think official offers are being extended after the recruitment / interview (?) event. Sounds like I got in though... Been lurking for a bit and decided to chime in. Good luck to everyone during the rest of the season! Applied to 9 American Studies PhD programs. 4a/0r/1wl. Four schools left to hear back from (Harvard, Yale, Brown, NYU). Also got rejected to Berkeley's Ethnic Studies
