Just received a letter from Southeastern today! Hopefully everyone hears from them in the next few days!

Not to freak anyone out, but UL Lafayette sent their first acceptance this morning. In the past they sent them out in alphabetical order by first name (the person's name who got one today starts with A), so you might here later today or even possibly some time next week! Apparently they're sending them out in two rounds this year. Also, everything I've just put is what I've heard from other people. If you've heard differently from the department or the grad school office, then I'm probably wrong!

I know UL Lafayette spreads out sending their acceptance letters over the course of a day or two, so don't lose hope!

My aunt used to be the Department Head at Southeastern. The program has been doing really well recently. They have a great program if you're interested in the clinical side of speech pathology. They have just started incorporating a therapy dog into some of their sessions, which I think is pretty unique. Overall a good program, but at the end of the day the decision should be based on where you feel the most comfortable and where you think you will grow the most in preparation for entering into the profession.

So, did you end up emailing your resume or your statement of purpose to Dr. Savage? I'm debating emailing it in!

Hey everyone! Huge congrats on being accepted to Vanderbilt! I'm applying for Fall 2018, and it's one of my top schools! Would any of you mind sharing with me your GRE scores? That's the only part of my application that I'm worried about! I took it once and I made a 156 V, 144 Q, and 4.0 for analytical writing. I know these need to go up, but I was hoping to get a ballpark of how much I needed to raise my scores if possible. Thanks in advance for anyone who helps me out
