Far from the Tree by Andrew Solomon is pretty dense but good and you can pick and choose chapters without losing information (he was also one of the keynote speaker at the NSGC conference in 2014).

Looks like someone heard from Minnesota today! Congrats to you! Now I'm even more obsessively checking my email.

I’ve literally been going crazy over this, so it gives me some peace of mind that I’m not the only one. Here’s to both of us single-spacers getting an interview
I know this is for a different school but the same thing happened with Stanford. They changed it from 750 words to 2 pages max right before I submitted. When I emailed them they said to submit the 750 word one because they knew changing it so far into the admissions process would cause confusion and understood there would be a lot of people who couldn't go back and rewrite their personal statement. I know this is not the same but it might lessen some stress!

Peeps I made this info list for my universities from their respective websites about a month ago. So have a look at it and let me know if it's helpful or needs corrections (I don't know about some universities, so help me out with that)
University - notification dates - interview dates
Texas - Feb - 7,23,27,29 March & 6 April
Minnesota - Jan end - ?
Oklahoma - 2nd, 3rd weeks of Jan - ?
UBC - early to mid Feb - ?
Toronto - ? - March & April
Indiana - 23 Jan - Feb
Arcadia - mid Feb - late Feb to early April
Cincinnati - Feb, March - Feb to April
Virginia - mid Jan to Feb end - March
Wisconsin - ? - ?
Pittsburgh - late Jan to early March - Feb end to April
Wisconsin said we won't hear a peep until February. But that is the only indication of date they have given! This is fabulous btw!

I agree that it seems like a lot of people. At their open house this summer they said they are interviewing 60 for 10 spots. They may have expanded the pool. I wouldn't be surprised if they are interviewing more students due to the uncertainty of the match system.
That makes a lot of sense! I didn't think about the uncertainty of the match through the institution's eyes. A larger pools gives them a better chance of being matched to an applicant.

I am not prepared for this waiting period! I have submitted all of my applications and I regret it. I want my applications back! I would rather be able to control it than have to sit back and wait with no control. LOL
Does anyone else feel this way?
To be honest, I am not too confident that I will get interviews. But something in me has a glimmer of hope! That might be part of the feeling. This is exactly what I am feeling! Thank you for putting it into words!! We are in this together. Good luck!

Should I put my pre-req courses and GRE scores on every CV or only the one's that require it? I don;t want it to go over 2 pages :/
I put it on each one unless a school had a specified page limit for the CV and did not require it on there. The couple webinars I listened to said as long as a CV wasn't 6 pages there wasn't a "max" page limit so I included it on those and mine was 3 pages total.

In the application space that allows for any other additional information did anyone include explanations for why grades lowered during certain quarters? Did you explain the extenuating circumstances. I only ask because I did but I wanted to know if that will look bad to an admissions committee.

So a lot of the applications have a section to list the other schools we're applying to and I was wondering if that was something we're actually supposed to fill out? It feels like a trap!
In Sarah Lawrence's webinar they said it was used so they can see how they compare to the other schools you are applying to like if you are looking at all small schools or all schools that have rotations in the first year etc. This may differ from program to program though.

To any second round applicants: Was the GRE an issue for anyone who had sub-par scores in one category (ie. in the 47th percentile in one category but above the 70th in the others)? When you received feedback was that something that was brought up?
I appreciate it! I'm applying for this round and am a little scared about that aspect of my application.

Hey! I haven't heard anything from CSU but someone on the discord said we should hear at the end of next week!
