Only 1 left to go & it isn’t due till the 15th so I can relax this weekend!!!

So they started early this year? I didn’t apply there but my apps were out early this time & I haven’t heard from anyone yet?

No but I guess the sleepless nights can start now.

My concern is that they may not work much this week. The recommendation write up could be on their office computer.

Yes. I’m in a similar boat. Luckily it’s my 4th reference on 4 apps. I’m not sure if I will need to remove the recommender to make these register complete. It’s my strongest recommendation as well so I hope it gets submitted. I sent reminders today.

Mine have all been submitted for about a month but still waiting on recs. I’d actually submit a few more but I don’t want to bother my recs any more in case I need them again for another round.

5 of my apps are still waiting on a Rec. All due on 12/1,12/3 or 12/15. They all have 3 recs in already. If the extra Rec isn’t submitted in time will these apps be considered complete or will I have to remove the recommender before the due date? One of the apps registered the missing Rec as waived so I’m not even sure if it can be submitted. Just want to make sure that everything is complete & can be considered by admissions but of course it’s my strongest Rec that’s missing.

Yes. I had 2 there and one is definitely still reviewing apps.

Starting a thread to track schools that have sent out interview requests or where POI has reached out. I’d prefer a thread dedicated to Clinical Psychology. Hoping this continues so we can track offers of admission/acceptances/wait lists.

Exactly. & I’m still waiting on some recs. Luckily they are all apps that allowed 4 Rec submissions & 3 are in so if worse comes to worse I’ll delete the last request at the end of thanksgiving weekend to complete the apps. Unfortunately the missing Rec is from my most prestigious recommender.

I’ve seen the opposite. I once didn’t apply to my top program because the website said my POI wasn’t reviewing apps. Sure enough I saw people posting here that the POI interviewed them. Anyway, now I’ll have to check all my apps to make sure the POI’s are still reviewing apps.

The first Clinical Deadlines I have seen are today. Which schools have already started interviewing?

People keep talking about cutoffs. I only had a 3.4 GPA undergrad but did graduate with honors in psych & an honors thesis. My graduate (masters) GPA was 3.9 & GRE’s are 161/161/4. Do you think I’ll make it through initial screening? I have impressive research experience but only 2 publications & one poster presentation.

The one that’s due friday is done!! The rest aren’t due for 2 weeks & all of them already have 3 recs on file so I’m in good shape for all my apps to be complete on time.

Dilemma of the day. One of my apps is due on Friday & is missing a recommendation. It only allows 3 requests. I have 4 recommenders. Do I delete the one that’s missing & add my 4th reference to the app? Do I send the reminder & wait & if so how long do I wait? The recommender has done more than half of them & the rest aren’t due till 12/1 so I’m not worried about those yet.

This is my 3rd try. First time was right out of college. No luck no interviews. 2nd try was right out of MS program & I got 2 interviews but no offers. This time I have been working in a top research lab, have amazing recommendations, have the masters degree & a BCBA license. I don’t know what more I can do if it doesn’t work out this time.

Is anyone applying to UMASS Boston? If so can you explain the GPA summary portion of the app? I submitted the supplement a month ago and the status is still incomplete.

If nothing happens this week I will remove them from the app & add my 4th reference but only on the apps that are due the 11/15. Unfortunately one of those is missing 2 references so it still may not be complete.

Some of the portals only accept 3 so one would have to be removed which can cause problems as well. Especially if I have to ask again next round. I just wish they’d submit & end my anxiety. These are psychologists causing this stress lol.
