  1. So, it appears MIT CSBi results are out (1 interview / 2 rejections on grad cafe results survey). To the people who were rejected (if they keep an eye on this thread), were you sent an official rejection email, or are you assuming rejection due to no invitation email? I am trying to work out if i'm still in the running; I have received nothing yet. xoxo
  2. Anyone heard from Berkeley Computational Biology? I got an invite from Cornell Computational Biology, if anyone's waiting on that.
  3. Lol, I see. Thanks. Incidentally, how is Harvard SysBio treating you?
  4. Has MIT CSBi admissions results officially come out, how about Princeton QCB? I have yet to have an official rejection from MIT CSBi or Princeton QCB as @SysEvo has.
  5. @alittlecarl Well done mate! Can't say i'm not a little jealous.
  6. Cheers! Yes I meant University of Washington, sorry for any ambiguity there! Yeah, I think Berkeley admission will be tough for the same reasons as University of Washington. I'm bracing too, although, I'd take these decision dates with a pinch of salt.
  7. Yay for this thread! Anyone heard any news from Princeton QCB, or Harvard Systems Biology? I've got rejected from Washington - unexpected, but i'm international, and the page states the extreme competitiveness for internationals. I've got an interview with Columbia Systems Biology - they'll fly me out from London to NYC so I think they liked my application. Any news would on the following programs would be vastly appreciated: - Princeton QCB - Harvard Systems Biology (I emailed Liz, she said invites would come out today) - MIT CSBi - Cornell Computational Biology (I emailed Sue, she said decisions likely to be 8th Jan) - Berkeley Computational Biology - CMU-Pitt Computational Biology (I emailed Nicole, she said decisions before mid-Jan)
  8. Finally news. Cheeky interview for Columbia Systems Biology. First one in the bag...let's hope the rest follow suit!
  9. Hey All, I'm applying for the following Computational Biology / Systems Biology programs below. I would be really interested, and very grateful, if anyone who has been given an interview for the following programs notifies me - personally, I still have no answer from any of them: University of Washington: Genome Science Berkeley: Computational Biology Cornell: Computational Biology (not Tri) Princeton: Quantitative and Computational Biology (QBC) Harvard: Systems Biology MIT: Computational and Systems Biology (CSB) Columbia: Systems Biology CMU-Pitt Joint: Computational Biology Cheers!!
  10. Will official rejection letters be sent out? I have yet to hear anything from any of the programs I have applied (all computational biology/systems biology programs).
  11. Same mate. I'm applying to Computational Biology - same deadline as yours. I've sent an email to my course's admission director. I'll ring the admission team at 9:00. Thank heavens that you posted this. I was freaking out too. I'm pretty certain we're in the right here.
