They give you four weeks to the date of the letter to notify them of your decision!

I’m a history and philosophy double major. 3.9 GPA; I’m in a few different academic honor societies; a presidential scholar (and created a program to make my campus more accessible to students with disabilities); working on an honors thesis; and I TA for two classes. When I’m home for breaks I’m a teaching assistant at a school for kids with severe disabilities, I’m an Ambassador for the American Cancer Society, I train seeing eye dogs for the Guide Dog Foundation for the blind, I work with a case manager to provide services for families in a homeless shelter, and I have my Girl Scout Gold Award

I was told by the director that I would get my decision last week, and I still haven’t found out. Hope this isn’t a bad sign, because the anticipation is killing me!

I just called admissions and they said they’ll be sending out decisions through next week

I also haven’t heard anything, and have been checking my email every 10 minutes (and going right to the application page). I don’t think we’ll hear until after 5pm on whatever day we find out though....

You’re probably right. It just doesn’t make sense because the director specifically told me two weeks ago today that I would have my decision in the next two weeks. I just wish they would tell me my fate and put me out of my misery already!

I’ve already called so many times that I think they’re probably refusing to give me any more information haha. Originally I called on January 19th to see when decisions would be released because I needed to try and get mine earlier so I could meet deadlines for other schools. I was told to email the director, but decisions would be released in about 3 weeks. Then the director emailed me back on January 23rd saying I would have my decision in the next two weeks

Oh gosh! Next two weeks as in they’ll be releasing them over the course of this week and next week, or they’re all going out next week?

When I interviewed in November, my interview was only about 30 minutes! Try and relax, the admissions officers at Penn are some of the nicest people. And once you get talking, it will definitely be more conversational and maintainable than you thought. Don’t psych yourself out, you got this

I don’t know when everyone is supposed to have their decisions...all I know is that when I called admissions on January 19th, the woman I spoke with said decisions would be out in about 3 weeks; the director told me on the 23rd that I would know my decision in the next two weeks; and, whoever I spoke with in admissions yesterday said something about next week or possibly the week after that. I realize that’s vague, so sorry :/

I called admissions. Some time next week and into the week after that seems to be their plan for sending out decisions!

I haven’t heard anything yet...I know they’ll be released soon, but the wait seems extra tough now haha

According to admissions, decisions will be going out starting February 1st. I’m not sure if they’re actually coming out today, but I think any time between now and next week (because that seems to be the time frame I got when I called), is fair game ?
