Got an interview request email from VCU photo finally

I really wouldn't worry about it! It's totally possible they had a different set of questions for the Fine Arts MFA.

Crazy that some other concentrations have already sent out acceptance letters but others apparently haven't contacted for interviews yet ?

Still no word from VCU photo?

I had an interview with them and they also mentioned TA/Museum stuff. I am assuming the interviewers from yesterday might've been different than today which is why? Who did you interview with, @Karisjns ?

I think last year VCU sent out photo interview requests third week of Feb, so hopefully next week

Not yet but I have an interview with CCC this upcoming week.

Just received an email for an interview at Columbia College Chicago (Photo)

!! Which dept?

It seems like Columbia College Chicago had interviews previous years but the grad admissions said they don’t give them. Maybe that’s a new thing this year? Anyone applied there before?

I also haven’t heard from VCU (film/photo)

Based on the few last years on the grad forum it's been the first Friday in Feb. that they announce interviews. Ah! When did you get contacted about an interview at VCU?

I haven't so far this year, but I did get a hit last year but didn't get in. Not to discourage you! At the open house they mentioned that a lot of times they don't have time to look at websites but will do so if they want more information on someone or if they're having a difficult time deciding.

Me too! I can hardly focus on anything, it's ridiculous. I have dinner plans with my partner at a nice restaurant to either celebrate or cheer up, ha! I applied last year for photo and again this year. I didn't get an interview but I was finishing up my BFA while applying and I hear they pretty much flat out don't accept people who will be fresh out of undergrad. Here's to hoping I do better this year. Good luck to you!

Yes, google analytics aren't always telling that's for sure! I applied for photo and haven't heard anything but they did look at my site

Is the 5k the total amount they offered for financial aid?

Could you all share the programs you know about that offer a full tuition scholarship + stipend? Looking for next year. Thanks!
