Awards documents have rolled in today for my country applicants, Nigeria. I wish applicants that are still expecting good news success.
-
It was same for me.
-
Same here. I think it's a technical problem.
-
It means you have been awarded. Just keep calm, you will eventually be sent an email in the next few days/week.
-
No, I'm from Nigeria.
-
Yes, you are very right. updates varies per country.
-
No email yet. I just saw the funding status and declaration of acceptance link. I am yet to receive my letter of award. Probably it will come in few days/weeks.
-
Thank you. what does your status says?
-
It changed yesterday afternoon.
-
My status says Funding!!!. I can now see "Declaration of Acceptance" at the top left corner in my portal. I await my award details from DAAD. Congratulations to those whose status already changed to "Funding". I wish good news to those still expecting.
-
Yes you are right. An applicant mentioned that someone from my country received a regret mail from DAAD last week. So lets still be hopeful since we haven't received such message. It is not over until it is over.
-
Since you haven't gotten any negative response from DAAD, it means there is still hope. Don't conclude yet. After all, I haven't also been awarded. We are just being hopeful that it comes out positive at the end.
-
Yes, my status is now "selection made" and It is the same with an applicant from my country. Our funding period now reads 01.10.2018 to 30.09.2019. We have both been experiencing the same change of status all this while
-
Have you confirmed if the unchanged status is the same for applicants in your country?
-
I hope DAAD will make us exhale this week. Wish all applicant success.

Making a grammatical mistake is almost inevitable. The most important thing is that it shouldn't be much. What they are actually looking for is your good command of English. They also understand that typos/mistakes are bound to happen. In my proposal, I noticed some typo/grammatical errors, but It is not much.
-
I believe same for you too. Thanks so much for being positive.
-
Okay, I initially thought it was a mistake on my side but I rechecked my application again and I confirmed it was changed by daad. Really, I don't know why the fund period changed. I think the most important things is to get the fund. I am still hopeful though.
-
I noticed my funding period has changed in my daad portal. I am a PhD applicant and I initially filled my funding to begin from April 1, 2018, and to end March 31, 2021. I checked last week Friday and noticed the funding is now from October 1, 2018, to March 30, 2019. My application status still reads "paper copies received" (although, there is no interview for applicants from my country, Nigeria). Please is this change in funding date same for any applicant here?
-
From which country did you apply from?
-
So it means we should be expecting results by March. I hope and pray it all comes out successful for us

Which country are you applying from?
-
Am from Nigeria
