  1. What do you think are the most important things to consider when deciding between programs?
  2. I think OISE gave around 3 weeks or so from when they sent out their offers at the beginning of March, so I was wondering if York had a similar timeline.
  3. So York offers have all gone out... but do we know how long people have to accept or decline their offers?
  4. I received official notification of being waitlisted at OISE. Has anyone received an acceptance or been waitlisted?
  5. There's a post asking about York in the Results section. If anyone who interviewed for CD or went to CD Open House wants to talk about it, message me!
  6. I didn't get a rejection email, and quest says no decision yet. I was short listed and did a preliminary interview but wasn't invited to Interview Day. So I figure my rejection will just come a bit later. Anyone else in the same boat?
  7. What does it say for you under Degree Registration Status?
  8. No news yet. But they just had their open house, and then it was reading week. So maybe soon?
  9. So for Ryerson, don't assume rejection even if we didn't get an interview?
  10. For Guelph rejections have been sent out just for those who were interviewed? I was not interviewed so I am assuming rejection but haven't gotten anything formal yet.
  11. Queens doesn't always interview! But I'm pretty sure first round offers were sent out
  12. Ive known people to do this. Depends on if youre willing to put in those extra 2 years!
  13. Some schools give you the option of listing different programs as your first and second choices. In those cases, it might be helpful to list PhD as your first choice and MA as your second choice, so if they don't want to admit you to PhD maybe they will still consider you for MA.
  14. I'd be very interested to hear from anyone who got accepted at Queens or OISE's SCCP program!
  15. Yes absolutely no harm in doing this after rejections are confirmed. I'll probably do this too to get some insight.
  16. I think this is the best way to check on the status of your application if you feel like you need to! You don't want to seem to your POIs like you lack patience. I know how painful the wait is. I just feel like emailling probably won't help and if anything it just makes you seem impatient. A lot of schools are sending out interview invites this week, so keep your fingers crossed!
  17. I hope it depends on the POI. But mine made it clear that the next step was an in-person interview :/
  18. Onsite interview invitations at Waterloo? I haven't seen anything posted about this. Preliminary interviews were early this month (I had one), but I'm pretty sure onsite interview invitations have already gone out. I'm wondering about Guelph, York, and Western because their interview days are so soon. So based on that and the timelines from previous years, I feel like we should hear by tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
  19. Thank you, this is helpful. I figured it would be today or tomorrow that invites go out based on past years. I will wait until Monday or Tuesday before I start worrying
  20. So how bad is it if we haven't heard from Guelph, Western, or York regarding an interview at this point? I thought invites went out this week.
