I don't see how it could, because a lot of decisions unfortunately are based around the money aspect.

My friend in the class of 2021 confirmed this as well as a mail from the Finaid department, so we are on track. Let's not lose hope until we receive a notification that we were accepted or not. I wonder the rationale behind a midnight (or 11PM) release time. Is it just for torture reasons?

Not OP, but accepted into the same program on Tuesday - I applied in January. My application status never changed to "in review." My status still just says submitted, until I click on the application itself to see my decision. Hope this helps!
