Thanks CA, I have news on Ryerson: I emailed the secretary or whoever I was supposed to email and she said this: All of the applications are in review. (I asked if we will know by end of March and she said:) - Yes, mid-March is when it will all be wrapped up. So everyone - wait until mid-March

"Malarkey" - WELL PUT! Currently I am frustrated with three schools as I know the others are rejections: Queens, York and Ryerson. 1) York - It says no decision has been made so I guess I am waiting on round 2 2) Queens - No f'ing ideas on anything but I know they send out rejections in March so I guess I am rejected? or round 2? Their open house is March 9th so I have heard that you can get an offer to the open house as close as a few days before... 3) Ryerson - no bloody idea - their online system is not the best and there is no information to suggest that I have moved on but I am going to assume rejection as this is one of the hardest schools to get in to. Nonetheless, the wait continues ... sigh...what a lovely process!

Hey All, Do you mind posting your POIs initials here? The reason I ask is that I heard some profs take longer to provide their lists than others and based on my very brief correspondence with the school, some students have heard back but those specific POI's respond quickly etc. Let me know - I have a couple friends who are students at SFU and I can ask them!

Hey Anne, That's cool but, we are applicants and honestly, we don't really care about spam emails form schools when every email we get we are hoping is an invite...so I don't care about their grad week unless it is AFTER I get an invite of some sort, and at that point, I am all ears and fully committed!

I too just got this weird email inviting me...why would they send this if we weren't invited for interviews? Queens is so frustrating haha

Hmm, what I am trying to figure out is whether they are wait-listed for a spot or wait-listed for an interview? Queens needs a better system *sigh

Hey P, Yeah that is fair - I will sit tight and here's hoping (fingers crossed) they decide to give us one. I would hate to be on the waitlist for 2nd round of interviews even though it is "supposed" to be a good thing.

Hey, I was checking the website and it still says "no decision yet" - I am getting ansi as I applied to the child one and I haven't heard back yet :(. I know it could be a good thing but the open house is less than 10 days away and I almost just need to know now if it is a rejection so I can move on.

Hey Annie, I absolutely agree - I am more looking to email the schools that have pretty much sent out their invites. I looked on those respective portals and it says they are still under review whereas others have received a "rejection" so I just want to make sure.

Hey All, Would it be appropriate to contact schools and ask about the status of your application? I would like to just contact my POIs and the school and know if I am rejected instead of waiting for that god-awful email. Please advise

Hey All, It sucks that I didn't get invites from NB, UVIC, UBC-O, Guelph but, I am still holding out for Ryerson, Queens and York. I heard back from Windsor and SFU so far. Please let me know if anyone has heard ANYTHING from Queens... Thanks

Hey Everyone, Windsor said they will have all interviews done by 11:30a Tues Jan 30th so if you don't hear back before then, then you are unlikely to get an interview there Has anyone heard back from/or know when Ryerson and Queens will be sending out their interview invites? Thanks

Hey All, For UVIC, from my understanding through discussion with a bunch of people is that the grad secretary sends our invites once the POI requests an applicant to be interviewed. So, if you have received an invitation, that is fantastic but, most people will find out this coming week. Last year they found out the following week as well! Let's keep each other updated
