I understand how this can be frustrating and remember feeling this when i finished my undergrad. I wasnt ready at the time to go to grad school(i was going to apply for clinical psych but it was another 5 year phd program). I ended up doing a one year post grad in concurrent disorders and it had a placement. I got a job at CMHA and have worked there for the last four years (hired from my placement) and with that experience have got hired in a hospital addictions facility as well. Although i cant speak to this strengthening your application or notbecause i have only applied to one school and I am not even sure I have been accepted yet. but, i did also volunteer at a private treatment centre as well while I was doing my undergrad. I would say volunteer where you can, and maybe completing the BSW could open some doors for you as well

Ive never heard this and would be shocked if they did. They had alot of applicants for May. They will have alot more applicant's in september im sure. I cant see them letting people in without reapplying..... I am not sure though. I contacted Miljana today again as I was told end of March. She said she thought it would be but we will have to wait longer.

Has anyone checked in with Laurier about the online program and timelines this week...? ?

83 in my undergrad (wrote my thesis), 90 for my post grad... worked at a detox facility for 2 years, at CMHA for the last 4 years and i teach a course. How about you? Ps i applied to online only.

I heard that but honestly cant picture them offering September start dates without paying for another application when theres a whole other line up of people waiting to apply for september! I was told the earlier you applied the earlier youd hear back however im notsure how true this is. I spoke with the advisor two weeks ago and she said likely end of march, beginning of april latest! So im remaining hopeful its my only choice and feasible option.

Thats what i was told...but the story changed everytime i called. Initially told 20 spots. Last time i was told they opened it to 40 spots
