Hi!, I just found out I got in! Super excited. I applied to schools last years and got waitlisted and rejected so so happy I got in! Is there a Facebook group?

Waiting to hear from ECU’s distance program. I emailed them a few weeks ago and said I would find out by this week at the latest. Has anyone heard from them recently?

I applied to UNCO, EVU, and WWU (on campus). I sent it to the person who sent out the wait list email.

They are waiting until the very last second to send out responses it seems like. Reassuring that no one else has heard anything yet though. Good luck to you!!

Ugh I really hope we both make it this cycle! Good luck with ECU! I didn't apply there, but I should have. I'm still waiting on Tennessee's distance program! But I'm thinking northern Colorado would be my top choice so i'm really hoping I make it off the waitlist:(.

I've only gotten into one school, and it'll cost $80-90K in loans (I applied because sometimes they have financial aid packages for former civil servants- didn't get one). I'm leaning towards turning them down and hoping on the waitlist while I search for SLPA jobs. Does this make sense? What would you do?Yes that makes sense!
I started working as an SLPA right out of my undergrad and it was the best decision for me. Not only did it give me 3+ years of experience, but it reaffirmed that I wanted to go into the speech-language pathology field. It has also been nice to have a break from school and do things that I would not have been able to do if I had gone straight into grad school. My advice when looking into SLPA jobs is going onto school district's websites or looking at early intervention centers near you.

Yes I can! I applied to schools last year and got rejected from three waitlisted at two :/ I have ECU to hear back from! What about you?

I was waitlisted as well. Really nice email compared to some other schools. I emailed them and asked about ranking/how many were on waitlist but I doubt they will answer.

I got off the waitlist at ECU! It does happen!!!
