I got off the waitlist at ECU! It does happen!!!

Hi!, I just found out I got in! Super excited. I applied to schools last years and got waitlisted and rejected so so happy I got in! Is there a Facebook group?

Nothing :/ I still haven’t heard back from ECU so that’s also making me crazy haha

Waiting to hear from ECU’s distance program. I emailed them a few weeks ago and said I would find out by this week at the latest. Has anyone heard from them recently?

I applied to UNCO, EVU, and WWU (on campus). I sent it to the person who sent out the wait list email.

Yeah, very true. Have you heard back from all the schools you applied to?

They are waiting until the very last second to send out responses it seems like. Reassuring that no one else has heard anything yet though. Good luck to you!!

I am crossing our fingers for us!! I asked where I am on the waitlist but no response..did you ask them by chance where you were?

Yes that makes sense! I started working as an SLPA right out of my undergrad and it was the best decision for me. Not only did it give me 3+ years of experience, but it reaffirmed that I wanted to go into the speech-language pathology field. It has also been nice to have a break from school and do things that I would not have been able to do if I had gone straight into grad school. My advice when looking into SLPA jobs is going onto school district's websites or looking at early intervention centers near you. Good luck with everything!!

I was waitlisted as well. Really nice email compared to some other schools. I emailed them and asked about ranking/how many were on waitlist but I doubt they will answer.

Have you heard anything??? I see some people have got in but I have yet to hear anything. Online too right?

I did not get an e-mail. Trying not to get my hopes up though!
