It's different every year by country. If you go to daad there's a page with numbers of last few years winners. Google ' daad past winners'. I think last year from USA it was 165 or 185 ish for Masters. This year there's about 600 applicants so about 27% chance.

That's a good sign considering people see they are dying and falling all the time and live just fine Other than that, i think it's just rough time... hang in there...

I'm honestly kinda loosing hope, after learning this year 3-4 times more applications were submitted. I've seen the list of winners of past years in DAAD, majority are from fancy, well known collages. I'm not, I'm from a regular university with a regular GPA, no hope......(sigh)

I sent the DAAD facebook account few weeks ago they said this year they received record number of applications and it's taking time to go through them. And they will post results slightly later than usual.

Long time reader, posting first time. Has anyone from USA received any update (either good or bad) from DAAD? My dates never changed and I haven't seen any movement in my account ever, kinda feeling down and sad, expecting the worst
