2 Year MSW

I think laurier's sporadic responses have a lot to do with the online program and they are trying to figure out how to work through this admissions process. Its just as new to them as it is to us lol. I agree on the frustration with the incorrect answers it makes the wait 10x harder and stressful

I graduated from my undergrad in 2016, but i know what you mean about all the contract jobs Im currently in one right now which is ending soon so the possibility of being jobless and MSWless gives me crazyyyy anxiety lool

Just out of curiosity, when did you guys apply for laurier's online program? I applied end of Feb (right before they closed the window to apply) but didn't get all my references in till mid march. I am just wondering cause I only found out about this program while exploring the Laurier website at work one day. Did the program come out in Jan or before then?

Tbh, I would not be surprised if we don't hear anything from them today. They have been constantly changing their decision dates and timelines..I guess since it is a very new program...but still

Right? There are other schools that at least say how many people are on the waitlist or where they are. Based on past forums, it looks like Windsor's and Western's waitlist does move, at least more than other schools such as UofT.

Anxiously waiting to get off western's waitlist as well. anyone know how long they keep people on the waitlist for? im assuming it might start moving this week or next week when majority of the schools have sent out their offers and its just up to the students to make decisions

2 people on this forum got acceptances with scholarships. No one else has heard back....so we are all just confused lol

I was honestly expecting a lot more people to hear back today because there are a lottt of people who applied to laurier's 2 year program. Like someone said earlier, maybe just people with scholarships got notified?

This is regarding the 2 yr MSW program at Laurier. They have an online option which takes 2.5 yrs and an on-campus program that takes 2 years. no clinical/leadership streams lol

Do you think the timeline may be affected by the online program? Esp for those people who applied to both on-campus and online? Maybe they are trying to decide to admit someone online vs on campus? Just a thought

Me too, apparently we are supposed to hear back from the online program today or tmrw. I am hoping it will be a little easier to get into the online program since it is fairly new and the window to apply was quite small.

I really hope its not like this. So far only 2 people on this forum received acceptances (could be more but they might have not posted)....I just keep refreshing this forum, my email and loris. This waiting game has seriously taken a toll on me

So scared now....I have not received any emails and my loris hasn't changed either. I would have thought that the online acceptances would go out first. I reallllyyy hope these are getting sent out in waves. Congrats to everyone who has received an offer though!
