Exactly. I would feel better about this whole thing if they would just come out and say "There is a glitch in the system - we will keep everyone updated." Just SAY SOMETHING.

I completely agree with you. Even if it was delayed, they should have ensured that everyone could view their results at the same time. They were able to do this when I applied for my master's sshrc. This is garbage.

I am so happy for those who have received a SSHRC! A serious accomplishment. But I also can't help but feel like every person who has heard has gotten it, thus giving me this deep sinking feeling No login info still (Sask).

I think the other message here is that if they are releasing results already, departments most likely know!! Damn them.

If it gives anyone hope for Monday, I just checked my rejection letter from last year and it was dated for April 26 (but I received it here in Sask May 4th).

My application was forwarded to the national competition (as per an institutional e-mail). But just out of curiosity, I went online to the portal to see if there was a status update. There is nothing there? It does not say there is even an application submitted. Is that normal? Is anyone else's application still there? It only shows my CCV submitted.

Got my letter in Saskatchewan today. Rejected with an embarrassingly low score. I was waitlisted last year with a much higher score and it was the same proposal. Added a few national conferences to the CV this year and was awarded a research fellowship by my university. Not sure what to think. Excellent job to the rest of you for getting your funding!! Best of luck to those still waiting.

I think I remember this from when I was applying for my master's. I believe my supervisor described it as "your research was deemed meritorious, but due to the limits of funding, could not be ultimately funded" or something. I could be wrong.

Still no physical letter here in Saskatoon. Anyone else in the prairies get anything?

Who did you get an email from Kraven?? Did you e-mail first or did they just send you one? I didn't get any e-mails this morning. I hope that is not a bad sign =(

I think Thursday or Friday would be more realistic. I was creeping on last year's SSHRC thread and it seemed like Toronto got their letters last (weirdly enough).

Kraven I am waiting here from USask too! Good luck. Does anyone know how the mail is packaged? Does a small letter mean a rejection and a big brown one mean an acceptance? I am mentally preparing for my rejection hahaha.

Mine is there... but I hope I am not setting myself up for disappointment!

This is going to be a long month everyone! Best of luck. Will update once I get my letter in the mail.Hopefully they don't come as late as last year. But I vaguely remember that SSHRC tweets out when they send the letters... so that should give us some idea.
