Trust me when I tell you i feel your pain! Rejection is hard and to be honest no one really knows what hunter is looking for! I know of overqualified people who were also rejected and people with little to no experience who were accepted. Would you mind sharing with us some more details about your interview?

I got rejected from Hunter today and will definitely appeal , everything went seemingly fine for the interview so I am very confused. where do you think you messed up?if at all?

Omg im so surprised about Lehman?? theyre so new they don't have online application? I totally agree as New Yorkers our options are so limited ,I cannot imagine adjusting to life outside of the city especially not owning a car. Columbia is still a great option and holds alot of weight I'm sure in the job market world.Have you considered taking another year off and just reapplying to Hunter?

I'm so sorry that this happened I truly do not understand Hunter's admission process.I feel like theres something so strange about how they select people because I know of people who have amazing credentials and were also denied.I heard Buffalo has a great program though! I would have loved to attend there but I was not able to apply this year.Only thing is that it is so cold up there and I wonder what the placements are like up there.

The whole process has been making me so anxious ! I hope it has nothing to do with the decision its just that people that applied after me have already signed up for a day for their interview. I hope they understand this emotional distress and tell us something by tonight! I don’t think I can wait much longer lol

It was just so cruel :/ How could they do this whats the reasoning behind it? Its a pretty huge mistake if you ask me.

Hey guys! I sent in my application on 3/10 heard back today that i was invited for an interview then two hours later I recieved another email that my application is still under review and to disregard the previous email Did this happen to anyone else? Im truly devestated.
