Is there a way to choose which letters on CSDCAS go to which school? No matter how hard I look over the website, there is no button or section to indicate that option. For example, I had 4 recommenders but some of my schools wanted 2 or 3 letters. In the submitted app pdf, it shows that all 4 letters were sent to them. I don't want to be disqualified because I didn't follow the programs' instructions, but it wasn't under my control. Does anyone have a definite answer to this issue?

@Toya traditional, but i've heard that they ask applicants to do a writing assignment as part of the interview process. so i'm worried that they wouldn't be able to do a phone or Skype interview

I received an email from New York Medical inviting me for an interview and campus visit as a "required part of their admissions process". However, I am an out of state student and it is going to be very difficult for me to visit this campus in-person for various reasons, especially financial. I really like this school, has anyone had experience with arranging an alternative form of interview (phone, etc.)? How should I approach this or the admissions appointee if I contact them? I don't want to sound like I don't want to visit the campus, I just can't financially.

When I emailed CSDCAS, they told me there is no way to choose 3 out of 4, or 2 out of 4 (if your program only wants 2). All letters will be sent to all programs apparently.

I had issues with it not loading. It worked when I would wait it out for a day or two.

@slp2be811 Yea I understand that verification (green deadlines) takes up to 4 weeks but I was unsure what the orange deadlines were like. As in, the website says that we should submit apps a few weeks early to ensure that they're received (not verified), but I wasn't sure how many weeks in advance I should submit those apps so that they're received (not verified)? Did you get any emails telling you that your apps were received?

from my understanding, orange apps need to be submitted 'several weeks' before the deadline to make sure they're received. does anyone know how many weeks in advance? CSDCAS already received my transcripts and LORs. I just need to submit my app. but for green apps, it says that i need to make sure that the app is received AND verified by the deadline. doesn't that mean i have to submit it double-early? like i submit it, wait a few weeks to tell me that it's received, and then it takes them another month or so to verify it?

How do you calculate your CSD GPA? Aren't the CSD prereqs for each program different so the classes that are included in the GPA different according to the program? Also, I took difficult chem and bio classes because I was pre-med at some point, so my GPA for that part of the ASHA requirement is low...would the caliber of those classes be taken into account? (versus people who took easy 'physical' science online, etc.) I'm seeing a lot of users here posting their CSD and cumulative AND major GPA, and I'm not sure what my CSD GPA is.

Has anyone had experience with Emerson? I've heard mixed things about the program. Are they a good program for a medical focus?

I haven't been able to find much posts about UMass Amherst, UVermont, Syracuse, and Northeastern. If you have any advice or warnings (anything !!) about these programs please comment below. Trying to figure out which to apply to. Besides advice, I am looking for a program that has great opportunities for a medical-focus. But literally any input helps, i need multiple opinions!

So I'm an out-of-field applicant and am so confused about the CSDCAS with its multiple deadlines. Most of my schools have an orange deadline in early Jan BUT one of them is in Dec (!!!) and some with green deadlines in Feb. But I'm having a nervous breakdown because I just started looking into the CSDCAS and there's a lot of deadlines and verification processes I'm confused by. It's definitely not like other grad program apps. Can someone please walk me through the CSDCAS application process and timeline? Like when I need to have the LOR's ready and transcripts? I haven't completed my initial application yet, but even that I'm confused by--like what exactly is it? I told my evaluators that they will probably submit the letters in December but I'm so worried that I told them the wrong date because CSDCAS requires different deadlines. I'm so confused, please help! Just think that I'm an absolute dummy when you explain things below, please go through each little step! (sincerely, from an out-of-field student who has nobody at their school who knows about SLP apps)
