  1. Thank you! I wish they could have that feature. I may send two scores eventually.. ETS is indeed a money sucker.
  2. oh, really! That would be great. However, I'm not sure if that's the case. Here is what I copied and pasted from the website: GRE® tests all provide the ScoreSelect® option, which means you can take a GRE test once now, or again in the future, and only send the GRE test scores from whichever test date(s) you want schools to see. Best of all, you always have five years to decide. Here's how it works: No matter which option you choose: You will select by specific test dates, so your scores are all from the same testing session. Based on what it said, I think I can only select the dates...
  3. Thank you! But the thing is my verbal is better in the second time, math is worse than the first time. It's hard to decide what is the highest score.
  4. I'm starting mine today, aiming to finish by the end of this weekend.
  5. I retook the GRE today, here are my scores: V: 160, Q:159. In my first attempt in October, I got: V: 159, Q:162, AWA: 4. I wanted to improve my writing scores because most of the clinical psychology programs in Canadian universities show the average AWA of the accepted applicants is around 5. I spent 20 days preparing for my second GRE, focused primarliy on writing. However, I can't believe it that my Q is lower than my first time, sigh..... I don't know how to send my scores, if my second AWA is better than 4, then I guess the 2nd set of scores is better? What do you guys think?
  6. Hello everyone! I'm applying for the Masters and PhD program in Clinical psychology for the 2019 admission. My first deadline is approaching: Nov. 15. This is a daunting but exciting experience, I think everyone would agree Let's share our progress and hope everyone's dream will come true! Here is my progress: 1. Did GRE once, will do again next month to get higher marks. 2. Contacted POIs, but only 3/7 replied so far (one said she is taking a year off, so won't be taking in new students). I was first upset, but than a prof told them they receive numerous emails everyday, so sometimes they just simply don't have the time to reply. So I guess who replied are definitely the friendly ones, but those who didn't are not necessarily bad, so I will go ahead and apply anyway. 3. Schools that I'm interested in: UBC, Uvic, UAlberta, SFU, UWaterloo, OISE, Queen's, Western, UOttawa, Ryerson. Look forward to hearing about your story!
  7. I just got my GRE writing score... 4.0.. not so good. My Verbal and Math are all above 80th percentile. Do I have to retake? I'm really not sure
  8. I have a master's degree in experimental psychology. I'm interested in applying for Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (Canadian schools) for 2019 Fall admission. I wonder whether I have to start from an MA, instead of PhD? School websites only vaguely answered these questions. So I want to know what do you guys think!
