Hey guys! Just a bit of info for those still on the waitlist for Western: Janet emailed those who accepted their offers today saying that we will be getting more info about the program/what we need to do beginning-mid June, after the movement on the waitlist has stopped! Basically, there is still hope!! Those on the waitlist are still being contacted, so don't give up all hope! I BELIEVE IN YOU!

My call came around 11am. I missed the call so Janet left a voicemail. Since she left the voicemail she also emailed me just to let me know (in case I was unable to check my messages).

I just got my call from Western this morning offering me a spot for admission! To those of you still waitlisted, there is still hope!!!

For anyone who has applied in previous years and was waitlisted: If haven’t heard anything from Western yet about being accepted off the waitlist, what are my chances of receiving that call? I’m starting to get discouraged, especially because it seems like so many people on this forum are rejected their offers to Western. I know they technically can call you throughout the summer, since people might pull their offer at the last minute, etc., but how do you deal with the waiting!? Thank you!

Yay congrats!!! Did they mention how long the waitlist was/your position?

I know UofT starts going through their waitlist today, does anyone know if this is the same for Western? In the email they told us “late April”, so I’m wondering if that could be today or most likely starting next week. I’m starting to get so incredibly anxious...

Is Western the only program that does not release information about your position on the waitlist/how long the waitlist is? I'm interested to know, even though they do not provide this information. Perhaps someone knows from previous years or has a little more information about this than I do! Anything would help! I'm trying to stay positive about being waitlisted but I feel like I shouldn't get my hopes up since I doubt that the waitlist is short...

Does anyone know the earliest you could hear back about being accepted off the waitlist?

Waitlisted at Western......there's still hope!

I feel like I haven’t slept for days. SLP has been my dream since I was like 10 and now that the countdown is down to a matter of hours the nerves are amplified by 10,000. Best of luck to everyone! Fingers crossed our hard work has payed off!
