  1. So I just stumbled upon this, I wish I'd found it waaaay sooner, but its a nice guideline of all the schools requirements etc. https://reachforthespeech.com/category/master-schools/
  2. You made it so far for your first time applying, it's super rare to get in in the first try. Also they can give you an offer up until September, because people still have to wait for the official waitlist offer and then decline it... which all takes time, keep pushing through I know this wait sucks.
  3. Hi guys, I just accepted an offer from UofA, which will open a waitlist position at Western and Dal. I am sending all the positive vibes to everyone still waiting!!
  4. I hope this applies to other Ontario schools too, the wait is unbearable ?
  5. Honestly, I think their application system is somewhat dated, the email is the most current update on your status.
  6. Thank you for your insight!??? I hadn't even thought about bursaries yet! I guess it may be worth retaking then. And great point about getting time to work thru the summer!
  7. Thank you! so did that person graduate in 2 years then?
  8. thanks! I really hope that is still the case, I don't know if I could redo that course
  9. To all the Dal acceptees, does anyone know if you can bypass the foundation courses if you already have taken the equivalent (as a prerequisite for another school)?
  10. Hi guys, I am waitlisted at UofA, Western and Dal. Crossing my fingers hard for at least one of them, but UofA is my dream school, is anyone turning down their offers to UofA? Congrats to all of you that got in
  11. are you currently in your last year? because I ended up doing better in my last semester and that boosted me up a little bit. I also took two extra courses (one a prerequisite and another an option). I wish I had taken more because my GPA is still not great but its super hard to motivate once you've graduated and I paid for the courses myself. Generally it's hard to find undergrad funding past third year, you could consider delaying graduation so you can stay at your own school though. You could also look into volunteering or work opportunities that are really relevant to the field. Personally my GPA was "tainted" in the winter semester of my third year so I still haven't been able to erase that mark, but I just tried to make myself as well rounded as possible. Hope that helps, wishing you all the best of luck!
