Yeah unfortunately probably a screw up. Just last week I received an email directly from a program director asking for paperwork to reclassify my application type and assumed it meant they'd want to proceed with my candidacy...turns out they had already extended all acceptances and were just filing paperwork retroactively. A lot of places seem to have a pretty crummy process ?

Wow--that would be great if that's the case. Either way, I responded back updating my form! Fingers crossed for us & anyone else!

I applied to UNCG's clinical psych phd program but assumedly was rejected after not hearing anything back. I just received an email stating "Upon review of your application, the UNCG Psychology Department requests you change your degree from Doctoral to the MA (Doctoral Track) option. If you would like to have this changed, please fill out this form....." Does this mean they are considering me for a masters there instead? Seemingly vague message and this is my first time applying to places so I'm not sure if this is standard!

Not sure why but similarly I noticed UNC rejections being posted a week or so ago from a mass email and I didn't receive mine until yesterday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Assuming rejection from GWU for Clinical PhD. Saw on their website interview dates were 1/25 and 2/2...merp

Do schools even update your online application status upon rejection? I applied to UNC for Clinical and am aware they've already sent out interview invites (the home page of the program even says so) but I was never notified and my application status still just shows "submitted." A little frustrating that they can't even send a mass email to let me know ?

To whoever posted their rejection for UNC from a mass email....I didn't even get the rejection notice from them ? I'll take any form of acknowledgement at this point!

I figured they had but I contacted admissions last week...they told me a decision has not been made on my application but they're currently reviewing it. Assume that means they've sent out a first wave of invites and are holding off in case ?‍♀️

Anyone still waiting to hear back from UNC Greensboro who received that info session email this morning saying "Join us February 4th!" How deceiving! ?

Did GWU say they've sent out all invites or do you know if it's an ongoing process?
