I officially received an out of state tuition waiver from UGA so I accepted that and my offer of admission today! If anyone else accepted UGA feel free to message me! I’m so excited!

Not yet but my PI coincidentally emailed me today saying she submitted my out of state Tuition waiver today and expects I will get it. And she’s still working on assistantships for me. So that eases my funding worries a bit.

I was thinking about emailing too so thanks for sharing. I don’t like that... I think I’ll end accepting my UGA offer, I just want to do it when I’m sure I’m not making an emotional decision.

Bummed no one else heard from UF today. I’m really curious about that one acceptance. It sounded like they would send all decisions out at once and they don’t really admit by PI.

Same! I might be being dramatic but I’d rather a yes or no at this point rather than wait a variable amount of time.

UF people check your email, we’re going to have to wait a week or two for decisions ?

2 years ago I applied to UF PHD and Ohio State Eds and got waitlisted at UF and rejected at OSU. I started teaching and got my masters and reapplied to UF and UGA this time. I got accepted to UGA and UF was really impressed with what I’ve been doing since I got waitlisted. My best advice is to go get more experience if reapplying is what you want. You will end who where you are supposed to!

If you don’t want to say don’t worry about it but It wasn’t UF was it? Going nuts waiting for them this week...

My UGA PI, ML emailed me saying I’ve been accepted yesterday afternoon no funding yet though. Everyone else who interviewed at UGA and hasn’t heard back yet I’ve got my fingers crossed for y’all!!!

Right!! It’s been killing me too! Definitely staring at my email all day today i feel like by this point they know who they’re sending offers to they’re just figuring out funding and what not. Just tell me if I’m accepted!!!

Is the results page down for anyone else? If anyone hears back from UGA please post it here!! I’m dying to know if I’m definitely going to grad school this time around or not. After the UF info session yesterday, UF is back to my top choice. UF and UGA are completely different but both seem like the best at what they do. Both would be good for me, but UF has an edge.

According to UFs program profile webpage, they sent out 12 PHD offers 2 years ago so I’m expecting they will send out 12 offers to PHDs And 12 EDS offers so half actually accept.
