  1. I don't think I would reapply. If I start teaching, I would stick with it.
  2. So I decided to email UF. They said initial acceptances have been sent out and I was on the wait list. But I was also told it is highly unlikely I will be accepted off of the wait list due to limited resources. I know I'm still waiting to hear anything from OSU but I'm considering going back to teaching in the fall instead of grad school.
  3. Good luck on your DU interview!! Did you go to the January or February UF interview? Because at the January one they said we should hear back in two weeks which is now this week. I was wondering what was said at the February interview.
  4. Has anyone heard from Ohio State? I see on the results search 2 people got interviews for the Ed.S program. I'm getting antsy because UF PHD is my top choice so I am hoping that I will get accepted there and if OSU invites me for an interview I can just decline and accept UF. But OSU Ed.S is supposed to be my backup in case I don't get into UF so I would at least like to hear they want me for an interview.
  5. 20 applicants total. I believe a roughly equal amount of PHDs and Ed.s
  6. UF interview was not stressful at all!! The atmosphere is super chill and everyone just goes with the flow. Like come prepared with what you want to say, but honestly relax, it's super laid back. You get your own personal scheduled of around 5 individual interviews, one being with a pair of grad students. No crazy questions, just the normal grad school questions, why UF, why school psychology, and about your background. Prepare as many questions as possible because you will run out because they answer all your questions iimmediately. After getting even more information I definitely want to go there. They said we should get a decision sometime after the February 1st interviews.
  7. This is how the current UF student says interviews will run: The interviews are set up to provide a mix of one-on-one interviews with select faculty and interviews with pairs of current graduate students. On the day of the interview, you will receive your individual schedule of who you will be meeting with and when. To my knowledge, you will be the only applicant for each of your interviews, so it should not be a group format.
  8. Thanks so much!! I just got an email from a current student who is assigned as my "interview buddy" so I asked her about the format of the interview (panel, one on one etc.)
  9. Thank you so much for sharing that. Interesting there is only a total of 37 applicants getting interviewed. I wonder how many are PHDs.
  10. Hello everyone! I applied to UF's PHD program and Ohio State's Ed.S program. UF is my number one choice. I was invited to UF's interview on January 25th. Today I received the detailed agenda which I will attach. Also on the email, the recipients were not hidden so I could see there were a total of 20 students invited to interview on the 25th. Also the email was written in a way that did not single out PHD students so I'm assuming PHD and Ed.S applicants will be together. Let the frantic preparation begin!! Good luck to everyone!
