I’d look into scad, sva, and saic. I don’t know if they have that exact program but they all have multiple design ma’s and mfa’s focusing on different facets of design.

What no way, if it went well that’s a good sign, you prob will get in and if not getting an interview at Yale in and of itself is an accomplishment. I’m sure u did great!

Sorry you got some interviews with other great schools so far though! You had a MICA interview right? How did that go? I think they are meeting tomorrow after they finish interviews to decide, so we should find out soon after that

I applied to SCAD too, got accepted, but I never interviewed. They also didn’t really give me a date I had to accept by. I asked and they said roughly 60-90 days. Each department might be different though, some might have interviews and others might not.

Tyler graphic design did interviews the first week of feb, but I’m pretty sure they do each department separately and have totally different time frames.

Looks like they are doing them next week and the following week.

I don’t know, it didn’t say in the email, but I just got it a few hours ago, so I wouldn’t fret yet they may still be sending them.

I applied for graphic design 2yr too, but the only one we both applied to is RISD and I’v heard nothing from them. In past years it looks like they sent interview invites pretty late. I’m also waiting to hear from MICA, Rutgers,Tulane, SVA, and VCU. Pretty sure VCU is a rejection at this point, but I still have hope for the others! Already been accepted to 2 programs rejected from 2 programs.

Yeah, a lot of programs do waitlist people. I looked at some past year forums and people had mentioned being waitlisted. Not sure if all schools do though.

I got the same email from mica about it being under review, but not for painting

I finally heard back from SAIC, rejected. They sent it through snail mail. Hope you get good news from them!

Hm ok I’m going for mfa in design and the app for that wasn’t even due till 1/27 (extended to 2/1) so they must have different interview times for different departments. How did your interview go?
