I just want to second this. Some of the advice in this thread would have saved me some heartache and financial stress this year. Tough love is a great kindness in the long run.

There is, but the trouble with it is that, so far as I can tell, is that none of them are necessarily great for continental-ish philosophy of religion. My interests are somewhat in the same neighborhood as Fontanabrush and I haven't had much luck scouting out funded MA programs.

The program gets a lot of applications as I understand it (historically at least two acceptances seem to pop up on grad cafe each year). I feel like someone would have come forward here or on the fb group if it were legit.

Chicago interview requests went out more than a week ago, I think. I haven't heard so I've just been assuming it's a rejection.

I did apply to GSU! Their program looks to be a great fit for me, so I'm very hopeful about my admissions prospects.

Also rejected from Northwestern. No email, but I checked the portal.

6 PhD programs and 4 MAs which feels really light compared with what I've seen on here.

I've had this horrible feeling that I've played this all wrong and just should have applied to MA programs. First cycle here as well and not having it.
