Are you talking about the MAPSS program at U of C? If so, the program is known to primarily function as a cash cow for the school, and it is difficult for students to gain much from the program as it is only one year and faculty do not always prioritize MAPSS students. I would suggest turning elsewhere if the biggest factor is just location.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but the recruitment day is March 8th, so I'm not sure what this means for remaining acceptances/waitlists.

I think the question on parents' highest level of education is formatted incorrectly! Axes should be flipped (can currently only select either Mother or Father for each level of education).

Has anyone received funding info from Berkeley?

I got it fairly late last night (8:30pm PST). It was a generic email from graduate admissions to check the portal to see a generic letter from the university. I'm sure they're still updating the portal though!

First Columbia acceptance on the board! Seems way earlier than last year's (Feb 6-12). Anyone here claim it?

Long-time lurker here. Congratulations to everyone who's received acceptances so far and fingers crossed for everyone's pending decisions!! I was wondering if anyone had any insight or guesses as to whether all of the Berkeley acceptances have gone out or there are more to come... not sure if I should remain hopeful or brace myself.
