In case it helps to explain the long wait for rejections, it seems that Berkeley won't know exactly how much funding they have until early March, so they're waiting until then to make official announcements. Unclear on whether or not that means there's potential for more admits. Best of luck to everybody!

Hey everyone, thought I'd get in on this. Applied for Classics PhD programs at Berkeley, Chicago, Columbia, and Princeton. Recently heard from Columbia and was invited to fly out in February; still waiting on word from the others (and getting nervous about Berkeley!).
