Hi! From what I have read on here, it is best to ask the head of the clinical committee for a status update rather than the individual POI If you are uncertain, you can call the Psych Department office and ask them who you should e-mail. I only applied to a couple schools so have limited experience, but I was in contact with the psych office and they told me I was on the waiting list and gave me the name of who I should e-mail for further info. It's a smaller program though so not sure how others work. As for asking about improvements, I am not confident that I can give the right advice but hopefully someone else can help. I have just heard it can be risky to ask the POI regarding status updates/potential improvements but it likely depends on the individual!

I just called the Psych department and I'm on the waiting list for URegina!! Not hoping for much, but she said I wasn't getting a rejection letter today so that's nice at least.

Guys . . . my POI messaged me asking if I got "the official offer" yet. My heart jolted out of my chest because I thought he meant for the Clinical Program. He was talking about something different though ? (which is still super exciting but I already knew about it). In hindsight I don't know why I jumped to that conclusion because I have yet to receive an unofficial offer, let alone an official one. The emotional turmoil is real. I've had no contact from schools so I am a wreck.

Hi all! I am wondering if anyone has been waitlisted for U of Calgary or U of Regina yet? I haven't heard anything from them so just wanting to see if there is still a shred of hope haha.
