Have any of you Harvard CSR admits committed to attending this fall? Trying to gauge the likelihood of getting off the waitlist...

Hey people waiting on Harvard CSR. I reached out to my POI over the weekend and heard back today. They said that the GSAS will release their list of admitted students back to the committee this Friday and that they will get the decisions out immediately. Hopefully this helps those of us that have been thinking "oh maybe today!"

Anyone want to claim the Princeton acceptance?

When I applied to Yale's RLST program for Fall 2020, I received my rejection notification on February 17th.

Yep. Thought it was kind of brutal too: "your application has not been successful." Yike.

Haven't heard anything from either. I'm going to guess that Princeton releases decisions around the 13th or 14th. Though you might have a better idea having interviewed with them. Not sure about Stanford. Fingers crossed!

@Octavia_sbutler Did your contact(s) at Stanford happen to mention if they were doing more interviews, or were they all conducted in December? I applied to the AR subfield as well.

Haven't heard anything yet. The results showed that someone got an interview from Stanford, so congrats to that person! If they are on here, what subfield? I know in the past some interviews have gone out from Princeton, Stanford, and Harvard around this time. This is the worst time for being patient.

Anyone going nuts yet? Hope everyone was able to get their applications in okay (I've submitted all of mine but still have one officially due on the 15th).

Hi everyone, Looking forward to obsessing over this board in a few months. I'll be applying to Religion PhDs this winter. Currently a MA student in religious history back East. I'll be applying to programs that specialize in American Religious History.

I still haven't heard anything from YDS. I accepted my offer, but does anyone know when the school sends out more information? Probably after the decision deadline?

Just accepted my offer to YDS, MAR- History of Christianity with full tuition. So excited! I do, however, feel for people still feeling the sting from rejections. That was me last year- 9 rejections and no acceptances. It hurts and it is hard and it was a really long year. This is just to say that I'm very grateful for the offer from YDS.

Does anyone know if YDS has released the Marquand Scholar awards yet? I was accepted to YDS yesterday and received a financial aid email a few hours later saying that I have received full tuition, but I wasn't sure how many full tuition awards go out. In any case, I am so grateful and looking forward to studying with you admits!

I went back to the application verification e-mail. It says that decisions will be posted to our application portal on March 15, 2020. Probably no reason to think they will go up any other time as it is specific.

UVA decisions are in on the application portal. Well, that completes my 2019 application cycle. It has been really great to follow the comments here. I am sorely disappointed in the results, considering that I thought I was a competitive candidate. Thanks for all your insights and for sharing your experiences! Best of luck to all of you as you begin your new journies!
