Texas rejections are in. Obviously quite the disappointing application cycle, but you know what? I am in Disneyland. So for the next little bit, I am going to celebrate that I applied, got rejected, and still want to apply again next go-around. Happy weekend everyone!

UT-Austin hasn't released acceptances yet. But, for me at least, it is still an implied rejection since they just finished their student visits yesterday for the candidates that they interviewed and invited. I asked the director of admissions at UVA yesterday when they anticipate notifications going out and he said "shortly," since all the decisions have been made. UVA sent out acceptances and waitlists about a month ago. So as far as the nine schools I applied to go, I am done and moving on to other things and getting ready for the next application cycle. Hope you hear back from your schools soon.

Thanks! Penn State was my top choice so there is a good chance I will apply there again next time.

I just received an e-mail notification from Penn State, so those of you that applied for the 19th-century United States program should be receiving your notifications soon!

Yeah, I feel ya. I keep telling myself the experience of rejections along with the ambiguity for the future is good for me (which... I know it is in a lot of ways), but still is just sucks. Hang in there!

Just got my UPenn rejection today, so they should be coming in for others that have been waiting. Hope everyone has a happy weekend!

I apologize- wasn't very clear in my post. I am not on a waitlist. Just saying that I am not hopeful with my chances to get on the waitlist. But that is also me assuming that they haven't waitlisted anyone. If they have, then I will add it to my assumed rejection tally (haha... ha... haaa.... ugh).

Harvard rejection. *phew* Glad to get that one finalized. Here's to Penn State coming through as I am not hopeful for UVA's waitlist or UPenn since they have done a bunch of interviews. Hope everyone had a good week and is able to have a rejuvenating weekend.

What else did you learn? Did you happen to talk to Penn State or UVA?

Princeton rejection just came in. Sure have learned a lot this application cycle! Looking forward to being able to start looking at new plans for 2020. Going for the MA degree is definitely at the top of my list. Congratulations to those who received acceptances!

I just received my Yale rejection not too long ago. No email- I checked my application portal and there it was quietly waiting for me. I hope I get an e-mail. I haven't been contacted in any way, shape, or form through e-mail by any faculty or admission committees. It's bad enough to be rejected, but I would appreciate the heads up. Unless Johns Hopkins and Yale accurately assume that I am constantly checking my application portals.

Has anyone heard from Stanford yet? Looking at the past few years, it looks like they send out acceptances around this time.
