  1. You'd be doing yourself an incredible disservice by not attending Hopkins.
  2. I got my acceptance from SSP today so now the decision is real. Anybody know how these two programs compare? I assume the SFS is far more prestigious than the medical school, but the SSP program is two years and costs $30,000 more.
  3. Thanks! I haven't received the official email yet; I simply logged into the portal and a link to the decision was at the bottom of the page.
  4. Doesn't look like it. The other students I know who have heard back received no funding as well.
  5. Georgetown SSP results are on the portal. Just received my acceptance!
  6. Have you all been receiving these emails for prospective students? They're written in a tone that implies one already got in, but obviously that it not the case. I started receiving them out of the blue about a month ago
  7. I got an email from the SSP student ambassador that hints at results being released tomorrow afternoon via email. So anxious!
  8. I applied to SSP and Georgetown's Biohazarous Threat Agents & Emerging Infecious Diseases program and am anxiously waiting to hear back about SSP (I was accepted into Biohaz. but have to enroll by early April if I want to attend).
  9. It seems like there is some overlap between the Georgetown Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases masters and SSP. Does anybody know how these two programs compare? I'm interested in national and international security policy relating to terrorism and armed conflict, and how endemic infectious disease and threats of biological and chemical weapons affect the strategic planning of military operations and contribute to the destabilization of security situations. I double majored in molecular biology and public health for my B.A. but now want to make a shift towards policy and government for my Master's. I was accepted in the Biohaz. program back in January but am still waiting to hear about SSP.
