Hello all and good luck with the wait and patience. Applicants from Turkey, my status in the portal changed to “Selection Made” almost four hours ago and still the same. How is it with you? Should I throw away my hope after four hours of waiting? Best.

Hello, as of now nothing but “Paper copies received.” (For my Ph.D. Grant application). They seem to have different deadlines and processing speed for different regions and countries.

Hello @inom_johnn, that is true. I have received the message stating that the decision meeting will be gathered sometime March and I will get the result maximum three weeks after this meeting.

@MSEEDS I know the waiting is not a nice feeling but please bear in mind that all regions and of course countries have different application processes. For instance I have applied from Turkey and interviews are not required here, the decision will be made based on the documents I have submitted. I wish the whole process was universal but try to either get in touch with DAAD regional office or with Bonn through the Portal directly. Good luck!

Hello, Same here. I see “User account locked” warning. I think it is related with the announced maintenance. Maybe they are trying to stop the server overload in time of maintenance by blocking accounts. It should be open tomorrow. Best.

Hello @Amal Isaeva, Regarding your questions: - I have a supervisor at the university I have applied for. - I have not submitted any documents to the university since for the application of the grant procedure (in my case PhD Grants 2019/20 Cycle) it was clearly stated just an acceptance letter would suffice and it was not even compulsory for the application purpose. Once awarded a grant holder must prove that s/he has been accepted though. Patience and good luck to all

Hello @Esteban Arias, people posted that they have received either rejections or acceptance letters or the status on the portal changed to either "selection made" or "funding". I have not received any answer via the portal and my status is fixed at "Paper copies received".
