I'm going to Columbia w full scholarship, turned down a full ride scholarship from CUNY and a half tuition scholarship from NYU.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out where I should go to grad school, and I luckily have two really awesome choices. I LOOVE CUNY, but I have a scholarship at Columbia that is hard to turn down. MY fear is that Columbia might be kind of impersonal/traditional, and that CUNY might be a better fit for me, but I'd love to hear from others what they think about the Columbia experience, etc..I also fear that the 10 month M.S. is way too short. I dunno.

I was accepted to Literary Reportage today! Anyone else heard back?

I have aid at Columbia, and I'm having a hard time deciding. Don't discard CUNY - it's a GOOD program.

CUNY has a very comparable program to Columbia. It's arguably just as good, as is the quality of the students...the education is great, and the career outcomes are similar. I'm thinking more in terms of fit and terms of comfort. For now, there seems to be more pros towards CUNY personally. But Columbia is so hard to turn down.

I just got a full ride to Columbia!!! OMG...so this is gonna be SUCH a hard choice. I feel better at CUNY(whcih offered me a 20k scholarship) in terms of gut feeling, but Columbia is hard to turn down. I also really like NYU's program and feel.

I'm also in!!!! Congrats!! I have no idea where I'm going, CUNY and NYU also said yes...

Hi! I called Columbia and they said they were sending them out between today and tomorrow. Have you heard back?

Hi! Have people heard back yet? I am waiting to hear back from NYU, Columbia, and CUNY...Ugh. Nervous but hopeful!!! It seems like Columbia released M.A. and Data Science, and that it will reveal M.S. decisions tomorrow...no clue on CUNY/NYU. Anyone know ab the other two?
