  1. i posted it earlier and tried to link it but don't know how so i just copied and pasted! domestic applicant from ontario graduated from Ryerson in 2014 with a BScN in nursing cGPA of 3.82 working as a registered nurse for the last 5 years in multiple large peripheral and academic teaching centres specialized in pediatrics and critical care medicine volunteered abroad working in hospitals, orphanages and teaching english in central/south america and southeast asia extensive work experience with marginalized and vulnerable populations
  2. i'm from ontario originally. Took a shot and applied to schools in BC and Alberta as well - was accepted to all 3 but I chose to stay closer to home and that way I can keep my job at 2 tertiary care hospitals in toronto. Thought I wanted to move to BC and take SFU's offer but made more sense to accept western's offer at this time!
  3. Hey, nope. I'm domestic
  4. Hey! I was accepted by western’s mph program March 15 and got a phone call for my acceptance with an email later that day. I was accepted into uofa back in February and sfu on March 15 as well. Those were both by email
  5. No I’d like to do international child health program development. I got accepted to UofA, SFU, and LSHTM as well but I chose western as it’s closer to home and works better for my life right now. It seems worth it but I’m willing to give it a shot!
  6. Hey everyone! I just accepted western’s offer and declined SFU MPH and UofA’s MPH Global Health stream...best of luck to everyone who applied!
  7. Also received an acceptance from SFU with the $2000 entrance scholarship and wondering the same thing...

  9. I'm not sure actually. I was pretty set on UofA and had accepted their offer but Western and Waterloo are closer to home. Western is also a 1 year program with practicums available at the place i'd like to work once i'm done so it's also looking quite attractive.
  10. I honestly didn't look at the portal till just now. Mine still says "released to program" but I got the phone call around 11am today. She did say she would be sending an email with more information to follow
  11. Hey guys, Just received my acceptance to Western's MPH today via phone call. I have also been accepted to UofA's MPH in the global health stream and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine's (UK) MPH in the health promotion stream. Haven't heard anything yet from Waterloo's MPH program
