  1. I received an email on Monday saying "the review process is taking longer than expected" and that I can expect a decision "soon." So vague, lol. I was hoping something would come through today, so I keep refreshing my portal. They're the last school I have yet to hear from so my patience is nonexistent!!!
  2. I have been following this thread and the wait has been GRUELING...but I received notification of my acceptance last night! First, in an email from the Graduate School sent at 10:16 PM PST (so late???), and then an email to check the MSSW portal from the program's admissions counselor early this morning. Nothing about financial aid yet, so fingers crossed. Hang in there everyone and best of luck!!!
  3. Congratulations!!!! That is an amazing aid offer, and you should totally revel in that pride! I really hope you'll be able to pursue your MSW soon. Can you perhaps defer for a year? (I'm not sure about UChicago's policies on that). Also, may I ask if you received an email notification to check the app. portal, or did you just check yourself? I'm still waiting on a decision from them and am so antsy.
  4. For anyone else still waiting to hear from Smith...I just heard from my admissions advisor re: snail mail letters still going out. They informed me that all decisions will now be sent via email. Such a relief, since I am currently in one of the Bay Area counties instructed to shelter-in-place until April 7th and am staying with my partner and his parents. Wasn't sure I'd be able to check my mailbox at my apartment for the next 3 weeks. Funnily enough, I received a Financial Aid award notification from Smith earlier today, but have yet to get an admissions notification email. Has that happened to anyone else here?
  5. Ahhh! That's so quick! The interview really solidified my positive feelings about the program, so the anticipation is already killing me! P.S. I was also accepted to UDenver
  6. Hi everyone! I had my Zoom interview earlier today with UPenn and I think it went well. I know a few folks have posted about their experiences with that process and I'm wondering how long it took you to hear back after your interview? I'm sure answers will be all over the place, but any insight is appreciated to quell my anxiety
  7. Loyola University Chicago (March 1 is scholarship priority, but May 1 is final deadline) Tulane (March 31) USC (March 9 deadline and rolling afterwards I believe. From what I saw last year, they were still accepting apps in July of 2019) I believe UPenn is still accepting rolling admissions as well—I didn't meet their Jan. 25 deadline but got an email that they were still accepting, so I submitted last week. Hope this helps and best of luck!!! P.S. I also applied to UChicago and am so annoyed at how long they are taking to roll out decisions!
  8. Hi there! Long-time lurker of this forum & first-time poster here. Upon seeing @Css1087's post (thank you!!) I searched my email to find that link, vaguely remembering that BU was the only school with a personalized lil' webpage. Search for an email from busswad@bu.edu/"BU School of Social Work Admissions" with the subject "Thanks for your interest, [your name here]!" You should have a page linked under "Your Journey Starts Here." I clicked on it and apparently I was accepted! Fingers crossed this wasn't a huge technical error. Best of luck to everyone!! ❤️
